About our event
We wanted to create an annual seminar event that builds confidence, and the physical and emotional strength of skaters in Atlantic Canada. So we created Truro Skate with a Champion. We created this event to help bring world-class skating talent to Atlantic Canada. Our inaugural seminar featured the one-and-only Elizabeth Manley, Canada’s figure skating sweetheart and Olympic Silver Medalist 1988. Our second event was led by Nam Nguyen, 2014 World Junior Champion and 2015 Canadian National Champion! The one and only Patrick Chan, three-time World Champion and two-time Olympic Silver Medalist hosted in 2018 and Lee Barkell, gifted Canadian coach worked with our skaters last year! |
